This sample pack contains 4" x 4" squares of our high-gloss, mirror-finish carbon fiber sheets in a variety of thicknesses and rigidity. Inside, you'll find a 0.25mm, 0.5mm, 1.0mm and 1.3mm with a pre-textured matte finish on the back for bonding. We also include 4 sheets of high-performance 3M adhesive.

  • 4" x 4" squares of 2x2 twill carbon fiber

Carbon Fiber Gear

I apologize for the mixup, it sounds like you had some confusion about what you were ordering. Our sample pack has 4 different thicknesses of carbon fiber pieces in the pack. What you received is what you were supposed to get It's not supposed to have 4 thick pieces of carbon fiber, the idea is to get an idea of how each thickness feels in your hand before ordering a larger size. You are always welcome to return it, as long as it meets our return policy criteria. You can find that at https://returns.carbonfibergear.com.

Sample pack

This is a great item for getting into carbon fiber. Clearly marked for thickness. I cut a square for a test fit and was able to see how easy to cut the carbon was with a dremel.

School Science Fair Project

I order the sample pack for my daughter for her 8th grade science project. She was trying to find out what material would work best to build water turbines. She loved the samples and was so excited when she received them in the mail. Tomorrow, 3/22/16 is the science fair. Wish her luck!
