Great gift for my SO who obsesses over carbon fiber. The wallet comes packaged in a classy carrying case. It holds plenty of cards without adding a lot of bulk and the “magic’ aspect is really fun. Showing others how the cash moves from one side to the other will never get old.
LOVE my magic wallet as does everyone who sees me with it. FINALLY room for cash in a compact wallet….
This is a fun, functional wallet. The wallet is very light, and the full grain leather is soft and pleasant smelling. There is some non-leather material a little ways into the pockets, which is what helps keep it thin, light, and also is what facilitates getting cards in and out of the pockets. I have no complaints about the stiching, save for one: There's no double stitching at stress points. The carbon fiber decorating it looks and feels nice. It's of course easy to get cash out of the wallet, and putting it back in is simple enough as well. Even if the cash isn't perfectly within the margins, so long as it is placed over the top and bottom strap, it'll be secured just fine. And concerning the straps, I'm glad that they aren't made of leather, as this means that they won't stretch like leather straps would. Although they do feel to be elastic, so they won't be completely immune to that problem. The four vertical pockets on the outside make retrieving your cards even easier than retrieving your cash is. I keep my two most used cards in the lower pockets, and put my other cards in the top pockets (two in each). The cards in the top pockets sit a little lower than what is shown in the product page images, but this is only a slight inconvenience, and I'm happy with this wallet's card storage. On that point, though, I'll note that when I first got my wallet, I was only able to push my cards halfway into the upper pockets. It was only when I sat down to write this review and noticed how they sit in the promotional images that I tried to push them in deeper. When I did, it felt like they tore through something. Presumably the two sides of the pocket had gotten stuck to each other, because I felt around for damage and couldn't feel anything. Another defect I noticed on my wallet is that the Carbon Fiber Gear branding on one side is noticeably lopsided. Over all, I like this wallet and would say it's probably just worth its asking price. It isn't made in some Chinese factory, and the carbon fiber on it looks nice. If you're looking for a minimalist carbon fiber wallet, I would say you can't go wrong with this one.
Thank you for your detailed feedback, Kulayb! We put a lot of effort in the development of this wallet, so your feedback will help us to continue to improve it in the future. While there is some room for improvement, we're super glad to hear that overall, you were pleased!
