As you can imagine, since it's made from real carbon fiber, it's ultra lightweight. 9 grams to be exact...about the weight of 2 quarters.

This simply said, is the best darn money clip I have ever owned and the price was perfect. Light weight, great design and will hold 1 bill or as many as you want to carry. I think the clip you are referencing was the Pirate money clip, which stopped being made many years ago. That one was a little bigger and looser, which was actually a complaint for many that didn't want to carry a lot of bills. Sorry to hear this one didn't work out for you!
